Cemetery Stories & Ziarah Guides

Beyond helping families locate graves and build dapur kubur, we document the history, stories, and culture of Muslim cemeteries in Singapore and abroad. Follow along as we visit historic sites, famous graves, and share the meaning behind ziarah.

Singapore's Muslim Cemetery Heritage

Singapore is home to a rich but often overlooked Muslim cemetery heritage. From the historic Kubur Kassim in Siglap — established in 1921 and one of the oldest traditional Muslim burial grounds in Singapore — to the active Pusara Amanand Pusara Abadi cemeteries in Lim Chu Kang and Jalan Bahar, each site holds the stories of generations of Singapore Muslims.

Through our TikTok series, we explore these cemeteries — uncovering hidden burial grounds, documenting the graves of important Muslim figures and ulama, and explaining the practice of ziarah (grave visits) in Islam. We also travel overseas to visit the resting places of well-known figures, sharing what we learn along the way.

Whether you're researching family history, planning a ziarah visit, or simply curious about Singapore's Muslim heritage, our stories are here to guide you. And when you're ready to build, maintain, or clean a dapur kubur for your own loved ones, our team is ready to help on WhatsApp.
